Rotary Charity Motor Show

The first weekend of August saw the third running of the Rotary Charity Motor Show, organised by the Rotary Club of Frodsham and Helsby. It was held over the weekend of 1st and 2nd August at Frodsham Community Centre. It saw over 4,000 visitors attending the show. Saturday was the preview day with the main event taking place on the Sunday.

This years Show was expanded considerably after the success of the first two events and the new venue proved an instant hit, which will be used for 2010. For pictures and full details of the 2009 show follow the link

Following much hard work by our Club's organizers, we were pleased last year to have a greatly increased number of Vehicles entered for the Motor Show and this fine and diverse display was viewed with great interest by some 3000 visitors to the ground.

It is pleasing to note that the day itself, was not restricted to the pure enthusiasts, but Young Families and Children's Organizations were encouraged with free entry for the under 12's along with the provision of Fairground Rides and Attractions. Candy Floss was a popular optional extra for both the kids and teh adults.
